phantasmalpoisonIn the spirit of things, here's another game/meme posted by someone else (except I deleted ones I don't want to answer, and changed the spelling). By 'current' I'm favouring recency over all-time favourites.
Half my post keeps getting eaten, sorry for the lack of cut and weird formatting.
Origin of your username:
My ao3 username is StrawberryPoison, which is a) the strawberry poison dart frog, and b) Danganronpa 2 spoilers, Komaeda Nagito's cause of death was poison from Strawberry house. Bonus shout-out to Ando Ruruka offering Kimura Seiko a red macaron in DR3 that is quite likely strawberry flavoured.
For my dreamwidth, I decided to pick a different frog in the same format, and the chūnibyō of phantasmalpoison is really fun.
I like frogs.

Current favourite show:
I'm currently watching Idol Time Pripara, a sequel to a show I haven't seen (not on Crunchyroll) that exists to sell a trading card arcade game, which, like, obviously I can't play, aimed at primary school girls.
And it's the best thing ever!!!!!! So cute!!!! So funny!!!! The songs are catchy and generally feature lots of English for easy singing along.
I'm posting this one for the yuri, of course.
It is absolutely fulfilling my girl™ needs for when I need to inject myself with a strong dose of girl™, but there are also multiple chūni idols for the parts of my soul not dedicated to the pink and sparkly. Love love love.
Current favourite book:
There's No Freaking Way I'll be Your Lover! Unless... and Pink Candy Kiss are my two favourite ongoing yuri manga I started reading this year, and No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular! is my absolute favourite ongoing yuri manga I've been reading for a while, and if you didn't know it's long become a yuri manga, now you do. I hope for a polycule in the two with the long unwieldy names.
Current favourite video game:
Going to somewhat follow the theme established with Pripara Idol Time and go with Artificial Fashionista, a dress-up game that's a spin-off of a death game that's still in development, which I haven't played. It's free, there's a short VN plot set in the Artificial Selection universe which explains why we're dressing up instead of solving escape rooms, and then I've then spent an additional 24 hours just making outfits with all the additional paid DLC clothes. There are just so many cute things, many of which go together really well, without the insane number of things I accumulated in Love Nikki where I'd spend an hour just looking through everything. Check out my outfits!!!

I'm generally an album listener, or I put my whole library on shuffle, but I do have answers for this one, it's really catchy pop singles not on an album.
1) Katchup by DALsoobin which I got fromgreetingsfrommaars 's Snowflake challenge post, bought, and then still keep finding on youtube because the music video is mesmerising.
But if you read her post, you've seen that already, so here's a song I've had on repeat for years, in what is probably it's debut on this site,
2) Bedroom Viber by Mini Viva
This group released one hit single, a couple more that didn't have that success, and then this absolutely perfect pop song was a free download if you signed up to their mailing list. V. much a put together by a record label and then dropped by them before they made an album kind of thing, but there you go.
Guess who is clicking replay on these songs now she's embedded them in the post.
Last thing you really got into:
It's probably still Clannad, and I've been back on Danganronpa lately, but I've clearly been Grisaia-posting enough that it's notable. It's just really good! I'm playing the prologue in The Eden of Grisaia at the moment, taking in all the yuri before Yuuji arrives at the school, it's really nice. I'm still saving the after-story, finishing the main story of the trilogy was just very satisfying in itself for a while. I am holding the possibilities in my mind.
Oddly specific thing that brings you joy:
I clearly just want to find an excuse to post my Beatrice. Look, she's arrived!
What smell makes you happy:

Date: 2026-04-26 11:52 pm (UTC)Yes, she's the cutest! <3 Honestly, (much like with my Detective Conan Fuwa Puchi plush) I don't normally care for FumoFumos, but she's objectively the best one and perfect in every way and I'm holding her tightly.
I went to pre-order as soon as I got the email from MangaGamer about the release, and she was already sold out by the time I put my details in. Thankfully I managed on the second release, because rather fittingly, I couldn't stop thinking about her, the Beatrice I'd lost.
I pre-ordered the re-release of the JonaDio figure, btw, on the subject. I do not have space for it! I don't know how I'm going to explain it! But I couldn't stop thinking about it (and the yen is weak) so I gave in to my longing.

I only have limited experience with them, but trust me, it's definitely not just primary school kids playing those games, I have seen so many office ladies around those machines, an entire HR department's worth of office ladies slamming down cards, lol.
