An iPod shuffle game, hurray!

Merry Three Weeks for Dreamwidth! I actually have some things I want to post about, so I will be relatively active these next few weeks, but I thought I'd start by filling in a prompt posted by goodbyebird

My friend from school used to email me shuffle games she found on people's fanfiction.net profiles, this is such a throwback. At some point I'll post one I dug up from 2012, but first,

Put your mp3 player/phone/streaming collection on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first twenty songs. Post the poem that results.

Flicking channels in my hotel room
Now it seems to me that you know just what to say
Cut away, hard to find
誰にも見せない誰にも言わない [Darenimo misenai darenimo iwanai] (I won't show it to anyone, and I won't tell anyone)
I hear the drizzle of the rain, it's falling from my window
Come as you are sweetheart
Nightswimming deserves a quiet night
We're self-imploding under the weight of your advice
It don't really matter
Oh, le-lo-lai, le-lo-lai, le-lo-lai, le-lo-lai, le-lo-lai
Na loti yo, na moni yo (I dreamed of you, I saw you)
Baby, don't tell me you miss me, you love me
You ain't gotta answer none of my calls
Good times keep rolling, got to escape now
I was down for the count
I do you, you do me
Well I thought I saw your airplane
Say my name, say my name
I can't stand the sight of you

So, we've got a couple of rhymes, some jarringly iconic opening lines, and a real sense this person can't make up their mind (as if they're of 20 minds!). But the bitterness of the final line is basically enough to pull it all together! This is definitely the same as writing a poem.
