Miss Sonia... heroes *only* exist in Japan

I sometimes joke about (/threaten to) write a UK AU fic for Danganronpa or something, as revenge for the many unlabelled US AUs I've come across. With that in mind, I made myself laugh at like 2am thinking about Sonia saying, 'Just like a Japanese hero!' for ninja censorship reasons. You know, in the killing game. Violence but not East Asian violence feels like a whole route to explore, 4Kids! dub has been done, but there are many different ways to do stupid localisation and child-proofing. I act like this would be a British thing, but the US had its own whole 'right to bear arms except for nunchaku' nonsense.

All of which sounds totally plausible as a law or custom of Novoselic, of course. Reality is stupid. I'm tempted to throw in something real the next time I write Sonia talking about her country.
